What you'll be doing
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Officer to deliver high-quality oral health care and education to patients within Western Sydney Local Health District, with potential rotation to other districts.
In this role you will be:
- Providing general oral health care to eligible patients.
- Delivering oral health education and preventive services.
- Working across various facilities within the district.
- Supporting services on rotation to other Local Health Districts.
- Maintaining high standards of patient care and clinical practice.

Essential Criteria:
- Qualification: Dental qualification registerable with the Dental Board of Australia.
- Registration: Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Dentist.
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated sound clinical and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with a range of individuals including the general public.
- A demonstrated understanding of and commitment to a preventative / population health approach to patient care.
- A demonstrated ability to work within a large team and independently.
- A demonstrated commitment to continuing education.
