About the Role
Reporting to the Aged Health Rehabilitation Endocrinology & Andrology Clinical Director, the primary purpose of this position is to provide:
In collaboration with SLHD Facilities, assist with strategic planning, innovation and future priorities, clinical improvement, policy oversight, and senior medical workforce planning for Aged Health, Rehabilitation, Endocrinology & Andrology services
Operational leadership of identified Aged Health Chronic Care & Rehabilitation (AHCCR) community-based programs to achieve the best in health and social outcomes for our communities. The Operations Manager leads, directs, plans, and manages the physical and human resources of those AHCCR community programs ensuring the effective and efficient provision of high-quality services, in line with the organisational and contractual objectives of SLHD, NSW Ministry of Health and the Australian Government Department of Health, Disability & Ageing.

Ideal Candidate
Relevant tertiary qualifications in health management including post graduate qualifications and/or work experience in managing large, diverse organisations.
Extensive experience and high level understanding of the NSW and Australian Government policies and programmes for aged care, disability and rehabilitation services.
Proven high level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including a demonstrated capacity to liaise and negotiate with a wide range of stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams, to produce high quality reports and successful submissions.
Current NSW Drivers Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).
