About the Role
NSW Health is seeking an experienced and motivated Office Manager to join Breast Screen NSW at the Hunter New England Tamworth site.
This role is responsible for coordinating administrative and operational functions for the Tamworth Breast Screen site and its associated mobile screening service, including the supervision of the local administration team, management of workflows, and coordination of both fixed and mobile screening services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, support, and supervise the Tamworth administration team, including task allocation, workflow management, and performance oversight
- Coordinate day-to-day administrative staffing and operational requirements across fixed and mobile screening services
- Coordinate logistics, siting, and operational requirements of the mobile screening unit in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Support the coordination of assessment clinics, including workforce scheduling and administrative arrangements
- Monitor appointment systems, workflows, and processes to ensure efficient client access and service delivery
- Support reporting, financial processes, compliance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives
What You’ll Be Managing in This Role
- Working independently within a geographically dispersed service while maintaining strong collaboration across multiple sites
- Supervising and supporting an administrative team in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
- Coordinating mobile screening operations with changing logistical and stakeholder requirements
What You’ll Bring to This Role
- You will bring strong administrative leadership experience gained within complex, client-focused environments, with a clear focus on delivering efficient and high-quality service outcomes.
- You will demonstrate confidence in coordinating workforce, scheduling, and operational requirements, ensuring smooth day-to-day service delivery across multiple priorities and service settings.
- Your highly developed organisational and problem-solving skills will enable you to effectively manage competing demands while maintaining accuracy, attention to detail, and consistency.
- You will have excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, supporting positive working relationships with staff, clinicians, and external partners to achieve shared service goals.
You will apply sound judgement within established policies and procedures, with the ability to identify issues early, resolve where appropriate, and escalate when required.
Essential Requirements
- A current NSW Driver Licence and ability to travel for work purposes.
- You will hold relevant administration qualifications and/or bring equivalent experience in a similar complex service environment.

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing demands, meet deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with staff, clinicians, stakeholders and clients
- Ability to apply judgement to identify issues, implement solutions within established procedures, and escalate where required
- Knowledge of, or commitment to, breast cancer screening services and the objectives of BreastScreen Australia
- Relevant administration qualifications and/or equivalent experience in a complex service environment, and a current NSW Driver Licence
