Are You the Right Fit? 
This role is suited to a paediatric Occupational Therapist who combines strong clinical expertise with a collaborative, professional approach and a commitment to high-quality, family-centred care.

  •  Brings strong paediatric occupational therapy skills, with experience assessing and supporting children aged 0–12 across a range of developmental needs.
  • Works confidently both independently and within a multidisciplinary team, applying evidence‑based practice and contributing to quality improvement. 
  • Communicates clearly and professionally with children, families, and colleagues, with excellent written skills and solid computer literacy.
  • Actively engages in ongoing professional development, values supervision, and maintains all required registrations and clearances (AHPRA, WWCC, NPC, immunisation)
  •  Holds a valid Australian C‑Class driver’s license.
  • Demonstrates professionalism aligned with NSW Health’s CORE values: Collaboration, Openness, Respect, Empowerment.  
 

Selection Criteria 
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below. 

  • Recognised Degree in Occupational Therapy or other qualification deemed appropriate by the employer, with registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Demonstrated clinical experience in Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention in a Paediatric setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Evidence of knowledge and commitment to the application of quality improvement and evidence based practice.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy in a range of programs.
  • Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
