We are seeking a motivated Occupational Therapist to join the Moree Community Health team, providing outreach services to surrounding communities including Mungindi, Boggabilla/Toomelah, Warialda and Bingara. This varied generalist role offers the opportunity to work across acute, community and residential aged care settings, delivering meaningful, person-centred care.

About the role

In this position, you will provide comprehensive occupational therapy assessment and intervention to a diverse rural caseload. You’ll work closely within a collaborative multidisciplinary team, with the support of an Allied Health Assistant who works alongside the Occupational Therapist to enhance service delivery.

What you’ll be doing
 

  • Delivering OT assessment and treatment to a broad range of clients across acute, community and residential aged care settings
  • Managing a generalist caseload in a rural and outreach context
  • Working both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Effectively balancing competing priorities and managing your schedule across multiple locations

  • * Based on a minimum 18-month commitment to the position or the agreed duration of your contract. All payments to part-time and contract employees will be made on a pro-rata basis in accordance with the terms of your contract, including any approved extensions. Please note: if your contract ends before the agreed completion date, you may be required to repay a portion of the incentive.
