What you'll be doing
Lead and innovate patient flow as the Nurse Unit Manager across Blacktown and Mount Druitt Hospitals. Drive safe, timely, and efficient care through expert coordination, contemporary models of care, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Oversee daily hospital bed and patient flow management
Reduce patient length of stay safely within benchmarks
Improve Emergency Treatment Performance through ED flow strategies
Lead clinical redesign projects to boost service efficiency
Build a culture of learning, innovation, and performance excellence

Essential Requirements:
Registration: Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
Selection Criteria:
Demonstrated knowledge of Patient Flow principles, challenges and/or experience in Patient Flow.
Demonstrated ability to lead change and to balance competing demands
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills and organisational skills
Demonstrated computer skills with knowledge and experience in Patient Flow applications
Proven ability to work autonomously and as member of a multidisciplinary team
Demonstrated understanding of key performance indicators relating to patient flow and their impact on the organisation
