What you'll be doing
In this role you’ll be delivering advanced, autonomous care to patients with complex diabetes needs, while driving collaborative practice, research and innovation.
Leading complex patient care and prescribing
Conducting holistic health assessments
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Streamlining care and reducing hospital demand
Advancing evidence-based diabetes nursing

Essential Criteria:
Registration: Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) (NSW Registered Nurse – Division 1)
Selection Criteria:
Current Nurses Registration with APHRA and autrhorised to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Diabetes or able to achieve Nurse Practitioner Registration within 3 years of appointment to position.
Demonstrated expert knowledge and application of skill required in contemporary Diabetes nursing practice, including expert knowledge and skills in patient assessment and treatment.
Demonstrated excellent leadership, teaching and collaborative skills with evidence of participation in research/quality activities.
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
