About the role
The Western Virtual Division is a supportive, agile, and innovative team consisting of vCare (Virtual, Co-ordination, Access, Referral, Escalation), vRGS (Virtual Rural Generalist Service), iCiC (Integrated Care in the Community) and vAHS (Virtual Allied Health Service).
As a service, the Western Virtual Division operates collaborating with Rural and Remote Facilities, Base Hospitals, Tertiary Referral Hospitals, Ambulance New South Wales, and all clinicians involved in the delivery of patient centred care.
The Nurse Manager Virtual Emergency, Critical Care and Close Observation role leads and manages the nursing team, supporting several key functions of the service including; critical / emergency clinical support and virtual support.
Seven days a week, 24 hours a day, vCare is a single access point for care co-ordination, clinical support/advice, inpatient transport, and assistance with referrals for specialist, post-specialist, appointments, and diagnostic transportation (District Patient Flow & Transport Unit).
