What you'll be doing
The Nurse Manager Workforce & Staffing is responsible for providing leadership and management for nursing workforce planning, recruitment and rostering, including operational management of the nursing casual pool to ensure there are safe and appropriate staffing levels and skill mix available to meet safe patient care needs on a daily basis. The position will ensure that staffing levels are appropriate within available resources aligning with the Award, and that the strategic and financial goals of the organisation are met.
The position develops, implements and maintains systems that provide data and information which are relevant to the position, to Facility and Nursing Executive and other key stakeholders within the facility, to assist in the development of recommendations and implementation of robust workforce initiatives that supports the nursing workforce across the facility.
The Nurse Manager Workforce & Staffing actively participates at meetings and relevant Committees, and contributes to the review and development of policies, procedures and strategic direction of the Nursing Services.
