Join the Aged Care Services team at Blacktown and Mount Druitt Hospitals, part of Western Sydney Local Health District. This is an exciting leadership opportunity to make a meaningful impact across two growing hospital campuses. Based primarily at Blacktown Hospital, you'll also provide dedicated leadership at Mount Druitt Hospital one day each week, ensuring strong clinical support and visibility for nursing teams. You'll work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary leadership team committed to delivering outstanding patient outcomes through collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.

What you'll be doing
As the Nurse Manager - Aged Care Services, you will provide operational, clinical and resource leadership to ensure the delivery of safe, efficient and high-quality aged care services. You will mentor senior nursing staff, drive service improvement initiatives and oversee workforce, financial and clinical performance while supporting excellence in patient care.
Lead and manage clinical, operational and workforce performance across Aged Care Services.
Mentor and support senior nursing leaders to build capability and foster professional growth.
Drive recruitment, retention, workforce planning and effective resource management.
Lead clinical redesign, quality improvement and patient safety initiatives using data to improve outcomes.
Partner with executive leaders to achieve access, performance and strategic service goals while ensuring compliance with NSW Health policies and legislative requirements.

Essential Criteria
Registration: Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Selection Criteria
Hold or working towards relevant post graduate tertiary qualification or equivalent work experience or a combination of study and work experience.
Evidence of general management experience encompassing administration, human resource management, finance and resource management, and health service delivery.
Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to effectively implement strategic vision
Demonstrated ability to lead organisational change
Demonstrated high level interpersonal skills, including problem solving, negotiation, change management and communication skills
Proven ability to develop systems to identify and analyse clinical need within a risk framework
