About the role:

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you’ll work across both John Hunter and Calvary Mater Hospitals as part of a highly skilled imaging team. You’ll contribute to a patient-first service culture built on strong communication, collaboration, and professionalism.

You will gain experience across all areas of the department, including:

  • PET

  • General Nuclear Medicine

  • Hotlab

  • On-call duties

What we’re looking for:

We’re seeking a motivated new graduate who is eager to learn and grow in the role. You will be:

  • Enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to providing high-quality patient care

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science - Nuclear Medicine or equivalent qualifications recognised by AHPRA and current registration or be eligible for registration with AHPRA. 
  • Hold or be eligible to hold a current EPA radiation license (S14, IA16 or IA16D.).
  • Participation in the general and on call roster to provide an adequate service to the hospital.


Additional Information:
 

  • To be eligible for employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or hold an appropriate visa that allows you to live and work in Australia. Employment of a temporary visa holder will only be offered in line with the conditions and expiry date of your visa. 

  • An eligibility list will be created for future temporary full or part time vacancies.
