  1. Relevant health tertiary qualification and project management experience at a local or state level.
  2. Demonstrated understanding of policy, planning and /or service development, including analysis and resolution of complex issues in the paediatric health sector
  3. Demonstrated ability to interpret complex information rapidly and accurately as well as utilising analytical skills and IT software to gather and interpret qualitative and quantitative data
  4. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with members of the project team who work across different organisations. This also includes stakeholders and/or other identified networks who are engaged with during project developments.
  5. Proven ability to communicate and negotiate change and improvement strategies with clinicians, executives and other stakeholders through all organisation levels.
  6. NSW drivers licence and willingness to travel to different locations including paediatric and neonatal units across NSW in addition to the NSW Ministry of Health and with nominated NFPs/NGOs.

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course (2 doses) of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA).

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
