Where you'll be working
Located on Level 1, NBH perioperative suites are modern, purpose-built environments designed to support safe, efficient, and high-quality care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
What you'll be doing
As a Theatre Orderly you will make an impact by:
• Cleaning all areas of the Interventional suite whilst maintaining a high standard of hygiene as applicable to ACORN and Infection Prevention and Control standards and according to cleaning procedures and policies at NBH
• Accountable for providing safe effective patient handling and positioning of patients
• Responsible for the safe transport of patients, specimens, equipment and sundry items within and to and from the Interventional suite
• Cleaning duties as assigned, and as according to daily, weekly and periodic schedules, including general cleaning, terminal cleaning of theatres and surrounding areas.
• The role will also provide support for the nursing team in the interventional area.
**This position is hands on and requires a high level of physical work.

- Demonstrated organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads.
- Ability to deal confidently and courteously with people at all levels.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Capacity to work under supervision and/or independently and to undertake a diverse range of tasks as an effective team member.
- Must be able to fulfil the physical requirements of the position.
