NNSWLHD Staff Specialist Head of Department - Surgical Services Temporary Full-Time Lismore Base Hospital (Apply via eCredential)

1. Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist in Surgery or Anaesthesia, and/or specialist international medical graduate pathways. (This includes applicants who are eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist in a surgical specialty or anaesthetics)
2. Demonstrated recent clinical experience as a Senior Medical Officer in the surgical discipline, at a site with at least a similar role delineation to the NNSWLHD service
3. Demonstrated recent leadership and management experience, managing staff, financial resources and equipment, with the ability to work with and develop a multidisciplinary clinical team
4. Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology, written, verbal and interpersonal skills
5. Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement
6. Availability to participate in an on-call roster and to respond on site within a reasonable time [add/delete if appropriate]
