- Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Medical Administrator, with Fellowship Royal Australian College of Medical Administration or relevant medical qualification including Public Health. Progress toward FRACMA and completed AFRACMA, advanced trainee in Medical Administration would be considered
- Demonstrated capability to effectively manage junior and senior medical workforce in a rural regional environment
- Demonstrated commitment to the principles and practices of clinical governance and clinical risk management and demonstrated capacity to implement and maintain continuous quality improvement management strategies
- Sound understanding of contemporary Health Service issues and the proven ability to prioritise and effectively manage resources to address these issues
- Communication, negotiation, consultative and interpersonal skills, incorporating the ability to liaise and consult with all levels of the health industry, the community and various professional groups
- Valid unrestricted drivers' licence for use in NSW/Australia and willingness to travel in the course of employment
- Availability and capacity to participate in Executive on call roster
