What you'll be doing
 Provide contemporary comprehensive Specialist General Medicine Clinical Lead services at the primary facility and other facilities where applicable for optimal patient outcomes delivering a healthy community through quality care. 
  
Provide clinical leadership, participate in quality improvement activities and provide training and education to clinicians across multiple disciplines to achieve quality education and safe clinical practice.

  1. Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist, and/or specialist international medical graduate pathways.
  2. Demonstrated effective clinical expertise and leadership with the ability to adapt clinical practice in accordance with contemporary evidence-based practice with experience in rural or regional healthcare settings.
  3. Demonstrated clinical leadership and workforce management experience in a complex public health organisation.
  4. Proven capability to develop and implement complex strategic initiatives including the capability to plan, manage change and improve performance based on service redesign and service implementation methodologies
  5. Superior interpersonal skills with ability to build and maintain effective collaborative relationships, to network and engage, collaborate with and influence key stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
  6. Demonstrated experience in clinical governance quality and compliance processes, and in leading or conducting research, innovation, service redesign or quality improvement initiatives.
  7. Comprehensive understanding of medical training accreditation processes, and proven experience in the development, growth and delivery of interprofessional education and training.
  8. Availability to participate in an on-call roster and to respond on site within a reasonable time
