What you will bring to the role

  1. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as health promotion, population health, or education and/or equivalent demonstrated experience along with experience working with CALD and/or refugee populations.
  2. Demonstrated experience addressing health disparities, health literacy, and access and equity issues affecting people from CALD backgrounds, underpinned by sound knowledge of relevant policies, plans, and legislation.
  3. Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy; high level presentation and report writing skills.
  4. Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in health, social or behavioural sciences research methodology.
  5. Demonstrated experience in project management skills, including project planning and evaluation skills.
  6. Demonstrated experience in community consultation, needs assessment and community development work with CALD communities, including the ability to influence, motivate and mobilise interest, to create change in settings that may be resistant to change.
  7. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in designing and delivering training programs for both staff as well as consumer.
  8. Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel
