About the role:

As the Modality Section Manager – Angiography, you will lead the day-to-day operations of our Angiography and Cardiac Catheterisation service, providing strong clinical leadership while ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality medical imaging services.

You will oversee efficient service management, support and mentor staff, and maintain appropriate clinical coverage to deliver exceptional care to patients and their carers across Murrumbidgee Local Health District. Working to current medical imaging safety standards and best practice, you will play a key role in achieving optimal patient outcomes and driving excellence within the service.

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  1. Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) to practise as a Medical Radiation Practitioner

  2. Current NSW EPA Radiation Licence

  3. Extensive post-graduate experience - post-graduate qualifications would be highly desirable.

  4. Ability to independently perform a full range of procedures and interventional examinations in accordance with department requirements.

  5. Understanding of DIAS Accreditation, National Standards and Work Health and Safety legislation

  6. Management experience and the ability to train and supervise radiographers as well as students while demonstrating effective leadership skills to provide an equitable and supportive working environment.
