Where you’ll be working
Join the New England North West (NENW) Mental Health Service, a progressive, recovery-focused service delivering evidence-based rehabilitation across rural and regional communities. You’ll be part of the Northwest Community Mental Health Team, a highly experienced and supportive multidisciplinary group known for strong clinical governance, collaborative practice and a genuine commitment to person-centred care. About you
You’re a confident, compassionate and skilled senior clinician who thrives in a dynamic community mental health setting. You bring advanced discipline-specific expertise, work well independently and contribute positively within a multidisciplinary team.
You bring:
- Advanced discipline-specific clinical expertise.
- The ability to work autonomously while contributing to a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build therapeutic relationships with consumers, carers and colleagues.
- A genuine commitment to recovery-oriented, evidence-based rehabilitation practice.
You are a natural advocate who keeps consumer goals, independence and wellbeing at the centre of care, and you bring integrity, professionalism and leadership capability to both individual outcomes and service development.
Requirements:
✅Must hold a qualification in one of the following: Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Nursing, Social Work, Counsellor (Degree in Bachelor of Health Science Mental health, Djirruwang Program), which provides eligibility or membership of the relevant professional association / provisional or general registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. For a CNS2: relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years experience working in the clinical area of a post-graduate qualification.
✅Eligibility to drive in NSW and interstate and the willingness to travel in the course of employment.

All payments to part-time and contract employees will be made on a pro-rata basis in accordance with the terms of your contract, including any approved extensions.
