Mental Health Drug & Alcohol, Orange
About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated clinician to join the GotIt! (Getting On Track In Time) team and contribute to the delivery of a specialised early intervention mental health program for children across Western NSW Local Health District.
Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will support children in Kindergarten to Year 2 who are experiencing emerging behavioural or emotional difficulties, helping to improve outcomes at a critical stage of their social and emotional development.
The role involves working collaboratively with schools, families and education staff to deliver evidence-based interventions within the school setting. Through screening, assessment, targeted clinical support and whole-of-school initiatives, you will help children build resilience, strengthen social and emotional skills, and enhance their engagement with learning. A key focus of the position is partnering with educators to build their confidence and capacity to identify and respond to behavioural concerns, creating sustainable benefits for the broader school community.
Based in Orange, you will be part of a team that works across Western NSW to deliver the Got It! Program. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the mental health and wellbeing of children and families while working within a supportive and collaborative environment that values innovation, engagement and early intervention.
