About the Role
NSW Health is seeking motivated and adaptable professionals to join the Mental Health Casual Administration pool. This is a unique opportunity to gain experience across a diverse range of settings, including acute inpatient units, community services, and support teams.
As a Casual Administration Officer Level 2, you will:
- Provide relief for permanent administration staff, covering both planned leave and unexpected short notice shifts.
- Support over 20 different roles, requiring the ability to quickly learn and adapt to various systems and processes.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain accurate records using a range of clinical and corporate IT systems.
- Participate in comprehensive training, including mandatory corporate training, online IT system training, and on-the-job mentoring with a buddy system.
About You
We are looking for candidates who are professional, reliable, and committed to developing strong administrative skills. Key capabilities include:
- Strong planning, prioritisation, and organisational skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work across varied rosters, roles, and locations.
- Awareness of significant mental health issues and the challenges of working in acute mental health settings.
- Proven ability to learn and use a wide range of electronic systems efficiently.
- Commitment to remaining in the casual pool for at least 12 months to develop core skills and gain broad experience.
