As a senior Medical Radiation Scientist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging while leading education and driving service excellence. Your key responsibilities will be to:
Perform advanced radiology procedures across multiple imaging modalities
Deliver safe, patient-focused imaging aligned with best practice standards
Educate, mentor, and support staff and students in complex procedures
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes

Essential Requirement:
Qualification: Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science – Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
Registration: Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA)
License: NSW EPA Radiation Licence IA14
Selection Criteria:
Demonstrated extensive knowledge and experience in a minimum of two imaging modalities.
Demonstrate a high level of competency and consistent high level of practice in area of expertise in a busy hospital environment.
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to solve clinical situations and to develop effective solutions.
Demonstrated clinical expertise through development of protocols, clinical reviews and delivery of in-services and presentations.
Demonstrated ability to supervise and assist with the on-going education and training of MRS' colleagues, across modalities, including complex clinical procedures.
To meet Grade 2 criteria, the candidate must possess a post graduate certificate in a relevant area of specialisation. For Level 3 Grade 1 applicants, please note as NOT APPLICABLE to this criteria.
