This position is responsible for providing support for the development and implementation of the Hospital Non Specialist Program (HNSP) within ISLHD, South East Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) and St Vincent’s Hospital Campus (SVH). This necessitates an ability to ensure effective liaison amongst all stakeholders in the HNSP and engage in process and quality improvement in HNSP.
The position is based at Wollongong Hospital, however, travel to, and support for other hospitals, in ISLHD and SESLHD is a requirement of the role both within business hours and after hours.

Wollongong Hospital, located on Dharawal Country, is the Illawarra Shoalhaven’s major referral and teaching hospital and has a bed-base count of more than 500. The campus, which incorporates the Illawarra Regional Cancer Care Centre, provides a comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services.
