Remuneration: $41.48 - $57.14 per hour
Hours Per Week: 35 (Job share may be considered for part time hours)

Where you'll be working
Join the Imaging Department at Blacktown and Mount Druitt Hospitals, part of Western Sydney Local Health District. You will work across two busy hospital campuses, supporting a diverse patient population and contributing to a responsive, high-quality diagnostic imaging service.
This is an opportunity to join a collaborative multidisciplinary team where your clinical expertise, communication skills and commitment to patient care will make a genuine difference.
Participate in 24/7 shift rostering, including morning, afternoon and overnight shifts.
Primarily work overnight across both Blacktown and Mount Druitt Hospitals.
Work across a rotating 24-hour, 7-day roster, with daytime shifts required as determined by the CMRP.
Work alongside experienced medical, nursing and allied health professionals.

What you'll be doing
As a Medical Radiation Practitioner Level 2, you will deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services while ensuring patients receive safe, respectful and compassionate care throughout their imaging experience.
Perform diagnostic imaging examinations in line with professional standards, legislation and departmental procedures.
Provide clear information, reassurance and support to patients while responding to their individual physical and psychological needs.
Maintain accurate patient identification, imaging records and modality workflows in accordance with established systems and processes.
Contribute to patient safety, infection control, risk management and quality improvement activities.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient service delivery and promptly identify and escalate equipment, clinical or patient safety concerns.

Essential Criteria
License: Eligible for NSW EPA Radiation Licence iA14
Qualification: Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science – Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent.
Registration: Eligible for and registered with Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA) prior to commencement.
Selection Criteria
Demonstrated experience in general radiography including but not limited to general and trauma, operation suite, mobile, dental and fluoroscopy.
Experience working in a busy hospital environment.
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to solve clinical situations and to develop effective solutions.
