This pivotal statewide position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team of OD Business Partners at an exciting time for our organization. By balancing high-level planning with hands-on execution, you will directly drive our diversity, capability, and cultural transformation initiatives.

 

What you'll be doing
The Manager, Organisational Development (OD) is responsible for the leadership, design, oversight and delivery of organisational development initiatives across NSW Health Pathology. 
  
Leading a centralised OD function, the role provides direction and oversight of statewide organisational development programs including organisational design, workforce planning, performance systems, leadership and capability development, and diversity and inclusion strategy. In addition to leading statewide organisational programs, ensuring the team are focused on partnering with leaders providing advice and support in building bespoke local solutions. 
  
The Manager, OD provides leadership to a team of four business partners and support officers. Supporting the team deliverables with clarity and empathy is critical to achieving success across the OD deliverables. 
  
The role operates is accountable for ensuring OD initiatives drive organisational performance, workforce capability and cultural transformation, aligned to NSW Health Pathology strategic priorities.

  2. Demonstrated success in leading, managing, and developing a high-performing team of OD professionals
  3. Demonstrated experience in the end-to-end design, delivery, and facilitation of high-impact leadership development, capability programs, and individual coaching, balancing active delivery with strategic management.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build strong partnerships with key stakeholders to drive engagement and integrate OD frameworks and initiatives
  5. Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, using data and analytics to make evidence-based recommendations and decisions
  6. Experience embedding Diversity & Inclusion strategies across organisational design and culture.
  7. Current NSW driver's license and willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the role
