About the opportunity
The Manager Insights and Reporting, Project Management Office (PMO) will be a key team member of a centralised PMO to support NSW Ambulance Executive Projects.
The role plays a key part in strengthening portfolio governance, performance monitoring and reporting, benefits realisation management oversight, and lessons learned governance across the project portfolio. The position supports informed decision-making through the provision of accurate, timely, and actionable portfolio insights.
In addition, the role will drive continuous improvement and digital transformation within the PMO through the development of data-driven solutions, databases, automated workflows, and business intelligence reporting. Leveraging Microsoft Power Platform technologies, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, the role will enhance reporting capabilities, streamline processes, improve data quality, and increase organisational visibility of portfolio performance and benefits delivery.
The PMO partners with the organisation to provide project management and change leadership, to enable the organisation to deliver maximum value through their Executive Projects.
About you
To be successful, you will bring:
- You are a confident, highly organised project reporting and analytics professional with a strong background in portfolio governance, project reporting, and business intelligence.
- You have demonstrated experience supporting complex project and portfolio environments, delivering insights that inform decision-making and drive organisational performance, with PMO experience highly regarded.
- You are proficient in developing and managing data-driven solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies, including Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and database solutions.
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable information for a range of stakeholders.
- You have expertise in portfolio reporting, governance frameworks, benefits realisation, and lessons learned management with the ability to identify trends, risks, opportunities.
- You understand emerging trends in project reporting, analytics, and Power Platform capabilities, with the ability to proactively identify opportunities to enhance reporting, strengthen project management frameworks, and support PMO maturity, governance, and portfolio performance.
- You have a proven ability to connect with stakeholders at all levels, influencing, building trust and maintaining strong partnerships.
- You take pride in delivering high-quality work, with strong planning and organisational skills and the ability to deliver outcomes within tight timeframes.
- You have a continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to navigate complexity, problem solve, and support change.
