About the Role
You will be working at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. It is one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history of serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities. Our facilities and services are world class and our staff are dedicated, innovative and caring.
Adult Drug Court (ADC) is a specialised NSW court; a joint justice and health intervention aimed at reducing drug dependency, reducing offending and promoting reintegration into the community. The health component of ADC includes evidence ased medical, nursing and psycho-social support for people with drug dependency who are eligible for parole. ADC within SLHD will operate out of Downing Centre providing care for people within Sydney's Inner West.
The Manager, Adult Drug Court will provide leadership and management of frontline clinical services working in community settings across Sydney Local Health District in line with Ministry of Health policy and guidelines and evidence-based practice. The Manager will pursue the optimal performance of the programs through effective leadership of multidisciplinary teams and the collaborative development of strategic alliances with relevant stakeholders including consumers, health services, other government departments/agencies and private and non-government organisations.

Ideal Candidate
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in health management or health service planning and delivery.
- Comprehensive understanding of the application of harm minimisation principles, and relevant National and State policies.
- Demonstrated high level experience in management, leadership and supervision of staff and ability to ensure appropriate governance within multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated proficiency in operational and business planning, implementation, performance monitoring, evaluation and reporting.
- Demonstrated multidisciplinary service leadership skills including experience with quality frameworks, consumer participation, data quality, risk management, incident management, workforce development and change management.
- Demonstrated skills in maintaining strategic partnerships with a range of service providers including government and non-government stakeholders.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills with demonstrated experience in conflict resolution negotiation and delegation.
- Current NSW Drivers Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).
