About the Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Clinical Education and Development Manager to join us in this critical leadership role to support the development, implementation and evaluation of the Murrumbidgee Local Health District's (MLHD) Clinical Education and Development strategy and associated programs.
This role is pivotal in ensuring our workforce is equipped to deliver best-practice care across diverse clinical settings.
As the Clinical Education and Development Manager, you will:
- Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of MLHD’s Clinical Education Strategy and associated programs.
- Drive multidisciplinary education initiatives and liaise with NSW Health Education and Training Institute (HETI).
- Conduct district-wide training needs analysis and design innovative education solutions using contemporary modalities such as simulation and virtual delivery.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen system-wide education outcomes.

About You
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or experience in adult education or related field.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in a clinical discipline, with relevant AHPRA registration or professional membership dependent upon the discipline.
- Proven ability to design, deliver, and evaluate education programs in complex health environments.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Current NSW Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Commitment to continuous improvement, inclusion, diversity and embedding cultural values into workplace practices.
