Manager BBV and Sexual Health Promotion

What you will bring to the role

1. Relevant tertiary qualifications in health or public sector management or equivalent senior industry experience along with relevant high-level experience in managing population health/health promotion programs.
2. Detailed knowledge and understanding of the individual and social impacts of HIV, STIs and viral hepatitis and awareness of current and emerging national and state-wide priorities, issues and models of care in these areas.
3. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with strategic thinking and development, implementation and evaluation of health policies, plans, programs, and service improvement initiatives in accordance with relevant legislative requirements and to meet key performance indicators.
4. Proven expertise in project management and in developing and supporting partnerships and stakeholder relationships.
5. Demonstrated experience in driving performance and organisational change according to local and State priorities to achieve agreed objectives.
6. Demonstrated experience in people management and leadership, strong interpersonal, teamwork, negotiation, communication, and motivational skills which show a capacity to build achieving teams with a focus on high quality outcomes.
7. Excellent organisational, prioritisation, time management, and problem-solving skills.
8. Valid unrestricted drivers' licence for use in NSW/Australia and willingness to travel in the course of employment.
