What you'll be doing
As the Maintenance Contracts & Compliance Manager, you will lead the development, implementation and management of maintenance compliance frameworks and specialised asset maintenance contracts across WSLHD. You will play a critical role in ensuring facilities and equipment remain safe, compliant, reliable and cost-effective throughout their lifecycle.
- Develop and oversee preventative maintenance programs, compliance systems and asset management frameworks for building services and biomedical equipment
- Lead the procurement, implementation and lifecycle management of specialised maintenance contracts, ensuring quality, value for money and legislative compliance
- Monitor contractor performance, manage service delivery outcomes and provide expert advice on contract, risk, cost and operational matters
- Drive compliance with relevant standards, accreditation requirements, building codes and legislative obligations across the District
- Deliver strategic reporting, business cases, audits and continuous improvement initiatives to optimise asset performance and support informed decision-making

- Tertiary qualifications in building, engineering, asset management, facilities maintenance, construction and engineering based projects or demonstrated equivalent experience in contract management.
- Extensive knowledge of facilities maintenance, asset management, building principles & standards and environmental and heritage issues, with expertise in the technical aspects of plant and building services maintenance and experience in effective preventative maintenance systems.
- Advanced capabilities in enabling the business areas of contract management, procurement and project management and in delivering results.
- Exemplifies personal drive and integrity demonstrating this through commitment to action; engagement with risk and showing personal courage; displays resilience and demonstrates self-awareness and a commitment to personal development.
