About the opportunity

The Linen Distribution Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the provision and maintenance of the highest possible standard of Linen Services, supporting the expectations of NSW Health and contributing to overall customer satisfaction.

This role is responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of clean linen to wards, departments, and clinical areas, as well as the timely collection of soiled linen to maintain safe and hygienic operations.

The Linen Distribution Assistant ensures that linen is distributed according to demand, stock levels are monitored and maintained, and all handling processes adhere to infection prevention and control requirements. Strong customer service, attention to detail, and safe manual handling practices are essential as the position supports the daily functioning of the hospital and contributes to a clean, safe and supportive healthcare environment.
