Where you'll be working:
This position is primarily based at Manning Hospital in Taree. The Physiotherapy Department is a dynamic and supportive team, comprising clinicians ranging from new graduates through to experienced Level 4 and Level 5 practitioners, supported by dedicated Allied Health Assistants. The team fosters a friendly and inclusive workplace culture, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, mentorship, and mutual support.

About the role:
This is a temporary position comprising duties across multiple service areas. The successful candidate will provide clinical services within the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Emergency Department (ED), along with clinical leadership and support to junior staff across the inpatient wards and outpatient department. The role also includes participation in occasional weekend work as part of service delivery requirements.

Comprehensive support will be provided to the successful candidate, including on-the-job upskilling from experienced senior clinicians based at Manning. Ongoing professional development is actively encouraged, with access to additional education and training opportunities, including attendance at training programs across other HNE Health facilities such as Maitland and John Hunter Hospitals.

About you:
Applications are also encouraged from current Level 3 clinicians seeking to upskill and transition into a Level 4 role. Demonstrated ability to lead and contribute to quality improvement initiatives is essential.

Requirements:

  • Physiotherapist with current Authority to Practice with AHPRA. Please upload a copy of your qualification/s with your CV.
