What you'll be doing

This role delivers expert physiotherapy care at BCHC, supporting cancer and haematology patients. It requires advanced clinical reasoning, autonomy, and service development skills. Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Providing high-quality physiotherapy to complex patients.

  • Using advanced clinical judgement and autonomy.

  • Leading service planning and evaluation at facility level.

  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary BCHC teams.

  • Driving continuous quality and care improvements.

Essential Criteria:

  • Qualification: Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy.

  • Registration: Current General Physiotherapy Registration under AHPRA.


Selection Criteria:

  1. Significant clinical experience in Physiotherapy, with substantial experience working with patients undergoing treatment of cancer and haematology conditions and/or complex medical conditions.

  2. Demonstrated experience in clinical supervision and teaching of staff and students both within physiotherapy and across other disciplines.

  3. Demonstrated experience in the development of clinical physiotherapy services, policies and procedures and/or guidelines.

  4. Demonstrated effective written & verbal communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

  5. Effective time management skills.

  6. Demonstrated commitment to professional development and knowledge of Quality Improvement & Evidence Base Practice.
