Level 3 Child Life Therapist Educator - REQ588958
Please note that throughout the recruitment process you will be assessed with the following:
- A bachelor of Education / Teaching (or a degree with a minimum of 2 years proven studies in Child Development plus education content)
- Postgraduate experience, skills and knowledge in Child Life Therapy provision, leadership and service development
- Experience working with children 0-18yrs – especially 0-8years
- Demonstrated high level communication and interpersonal skills, with proven success in multidisciplinary team settings.
- Demonstrated time management and prioritisation skills with an ability to work flexibly within service demands.
- Demonstrated experience and commitment to continuing education, quality management and/or research activities.
As part of your application please address the following targeted questions:
- Demonstrate your experience and advanced clinical skills in working with children and young people as a child life therapist, including the complexity of care you have contributed to within multi-disciplinary teams.
- Outline your experience and skills in delivering education and support to students, colleagues and groups of professionals.
- What experience do you have in leadership roles, and service development within Child Life Therapy services, and what do you see as important to this work?
