About the role

  • Lead the delivery of high-quality pharmacy services in Oncology and Ambulatory Cancer Services across SVHS and affiliated sites
  • Provide clinical leadership, mentorship, and expert guidance to pharmacy staff within The Kinghorn Cancer Centre (TKCC)
  • Drive best practices in cancer care to optimise patient outcomes and service efficiency
  • Contribute to strategic planning and operational management as part of the SVHS pharmacy leadership team
  • Collaborate across teams and services to ensure continuity and excellence in pharmacy care delivery

About you

  • Registered as a practicing pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with no conditions on scope of practice and post registration clinical or management/leadership qualifications or equivalent skills/experience.
  • Availability for on-call and weekend work as per roster requirements.
  • Extensive experience and a demonstrated high level of competence, expertise and application of clinical judgment in the provision of Oncology and/or Haematology pharmacy services
  • Demonstrated knowledge of eviQ guidelines, Drug and Therapeutics Committee processes including Formulary management and experience in the implementation of formulary decisions and policies and procedures
  • Proficient in pharmacy and oncology systems such as MOSAIQ and CHARM, with excellent digital and documentation skills
  • Proven leadership in staff development, team collaboration, and service improvement initiatives
