Selection Criteria
1. Demonstrated experience in administrative management, preferable with clinical staff, including knowledge in rosters, payroll, leave, and interpret awards, agreements, employment legislation and JMO Well Being strategies.
2. Experience in human resources management, such as industrial relations, recruitment, performance management or change management experience.
3. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of medical staff structures within a public hospital with the ability to liaise with a diverse range of people whilst maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion.
4. Demonstrated ability to perform a range of management and administrative tasks, monitoring and managing work priorities to enable adjustments to workflow as required
5. Demonstrated ability to determine priorities for others, delegate tasks and monitor work performance of staff to achieve work objectives.
6. Demonstrated ability to develop and manage the performance of staff by providing ongoing feedback and coaching.
7. Excellent experience in organisational, consultative and well-developed verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work autonomously and meet strict deadlines.
8. Experience in the use of software packages including Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook), payroll systems and other software programs as required.
