About the Opportunity
This CNS2 Intensive Care Liaison Nurse opportunity at Wagga Wagga Base Hospital offers the chance to step into an advanced practice role within a modern, fast-growing regional referral centre. WWBH is a state-of-the-art teaching hospital with a strong focus on collaboration, innovation and professional development. In this role, you’ll work closely with ICU and ward teams to guide patients through their critical care journey, ensuring safe transitions, reducing readmissions and elevating care across the organisation. About You
Our ideal candidate will:
- Act as the key clinical link between ICU and ward teams, ensuring clear communication, seamless transitions, and excellent patient outcomes.
- Provide expert clinical assistance, advanced assessment, and specialist education to nurses across the organisation.
- Enhance capability and confidence in managing deteriorating patients outside the ICU.
- Be an active member of the Clinical Emergency Response System (CERS), attending rapid response and emergency calls.
- Promote high-level nursing practice and supports quality improvement in critical care.
