About the Role

RPA Virtual Hospital is the first virtual hospital in Australia and supports patient flow and system capacity by shifting care into the community and enhancing the patient experience of care. Services include the Virtual Care Centre, Sydney District Nursing service, and Integrated Chronic Care services. Staff are located across seven sites including the King George V Building in Camperdown; Redfern, Marrickville, Croydon, Canterbury Health Centres; on the Concord Hospital Campus, and at Bridge Rd, Stanmore. RPA Virtual Hospital is primarily a District-wide facility, but with some services delivered across metropolitan NSW and into rural Local Health Districts.

   

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision of person centred; evidence informed nursing care that promotes identified health outcomes. The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Ideal Candidate

  • Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA). 
  • Demonstrated understanding of evidence informed practice and critical thinking. 
  • Ability to participate in a seven day rotating roster with shifts varying from 4-8 hours per day.
