About the role
The Innovation and Improvement Lead is responsible for the management, coordination, and development of the Innovation and Improvement program across Calvary Kogarah. The role will drive the delivery of strategic and tactical improvement initiatives across clinical and corporate business areas through collaborating directly with executives, senior managers, and clinical staff. The role utilises a variety of analytical and process improvement tools and techniques to rigorously enhance performance and outcomes.  
The role will also support efficient and effective operations within the office of the General Manager.
 
About you
  1. Personal integrity and demonstrated ability to work within the Mission and Values of Calvary Health Care Kogarah.
  2. Demonstrated experience in managing complex programs of work in a large and complex health organisation, including relevant project or health service management qualifications or equivalent. This includes extensive knowledge and demonstrated experience ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, to quality standards and within agreed scope.
  3. Demonstrated experience in managing organisation change and the design and implementation of change and innovation frameworks and initiatives.
  4. Demonstrated ability to negotiate, influence and develop strategic partnerships with key clinical leaders, project, executive, external stakeholders, government and/or NGOs
  5. Proven experience leading and developing the capability of a team, and coaching and advising managers, whilst always fostering a performance based and customer focused work culture.
  6. Highly developed analytical, critical appraisal, interpretation, and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead people through complex change across all levels, demonstrating risk management acumen.
  7. Demonstrated experience working with multidisciplinary teams, and an ability to motivate, lead and to use initiative as well as the ability to provide authoritative advice and recommendations across a large and complex organisation.
  8. Experience in developing and implementing business plans and strategic goals
