About the Role
As a key leader, you'll drive the development and delivery of ICT systems for major health redevelopment projects across the District. You'll lead and oversee implementation of the ICT strategy, engage stakeholders, and define business requirements for both ‘greenfield’ and redeveloped facilities. Working closely with the senior leadership team, you’ll create governance frameworks and manage relationships to ensure the successful deployment of IT systems across the district.
This role will involve travel across the region, with flexible working options available in Armidale, Tamworth, Manning, or Charlestown, giving you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the region’s healthcare infrastructure
What you need to succeed:
We’re looking for a strategic, results-driven leader with a strong background in managing complex ICT projects and building solid vendor relationships. Your expertise will ensure the delivery of high-quality systems on time and within budget, all while adhering to NSW probity guidelines:
- Tertiary qualification in ICT Project Management or equivalent experience
- Proven stakeholder management experience and strong project management capabilities
- Capital works experience (preferred)
- Advanced negotiation skills and in-depth understanding of NSW probity guidelines
- Exceptional written communication skills for business cases, risk management, and project report
- Experience developing and maintaining ICT standards and procedures
- Strong ability to track and manage project milestones, adjusting strategies to stay on target
- Previous experience in large-scale ICT projects, ideally in the health or government sector
