About the Opportunity
As an ICT Procurement Officer of our Procurement Team at eHealth NSW, you will help make a real difference in healthcare through influencing procurement decisions and deliver value through strategic sourcing and stakeholder engagement across NSW Health.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a team of procurement professionals and ICT stakeholders to lead sourcing strategies, negotiate contracts, and drive supplier performance across ICT categories—covering infrastructure, software, telecommunications, professional services, and both physical and cloud environments.
In this role, you will:
Manage end-to-end ICT procurement projects with a strong focus on value for money, compliance, and risk management.
Provide expert procurement advice and lead contract negotiations across ICT categories including infrastructure, software, and cloud services.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support effective service delivery.
Analyse supply markets and develop sourcing strategies that align with business objectives.
Identify procurement risks and ensure contracts are effectively governed and performance managed.
About You
Proven experience in procurement and category management within a large and complex service environment, supported by relevant qualifications or demonstrated equivalent experience.
Specialist knowledge in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, risk management, and contract negotiation.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, interpret, and present data-driven insights.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders, manage change, and deliver business-focused outcomes.
