In this role, you’ll take the lead on designing and managing end-to-end procurement processes, with a focus on establishing supplier panels that will support a major digital redevelopment initiative. In this role, you will :
Lead end-to-end procurement and category management.
Drive strategic initiatives and manage supplier relationships to deliver long-term value.
Overseeing contract management activities, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and strong supplier performance.
Transform complex data into knowledge, generate insights, and develop business-focused solutions.
Identify and mitigate procurement risks with confidence and foresight.
Manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment while maintaining a strong customer and stakeholder focus.
Contribute to strategic planning, continuous improvement initiatives, and successfully managing change with lasting impacts.
About You

Provide expert procurement advice and strategic direction, driving a performance-focused, innovative, and customer-centric procurement culture.
Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with stakeholders, fostering open communication and transparency, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and procurement policies.
Analyse market dynamics to shape procurement strategies, especially for complex categories and projects with limited suppliers.
Lead the development of robust procurement documentation and expert negotiation plans.
Develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies, ensuring clear ownership and strong governance of contracts throughout their lifecycle.
Ensure procurement activities comply with all legislative requirements and uphold public procurement probity and ethics, overseeing major tender processes to deliver successful outcomes.
