What You'll Be Doing:
The Heating, Venting and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) and Refrigeration Technician is part of the Facilities Management function within South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) and is responsible for the provision of efficient and effective services related to heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration.
The position addresses, maintains, and resolves daily operational issues across SESLHD facilities.

Selection Criteria:
- A trade qualification in HVAC/refrigeration with knowledge and understanding of the application of relevant Australian Standards and Codes of Practice.
- Demonstrated good organisational and time management skills with the ability to work under minimal supervision while following safe work practices.
- Proven skills in fault finding and problem solving, including the ability to interpret building and services plans.
- Demonstrated HVAC and refrigeration experience in the maintenance of large building complexes and facility maintenance, and proven ability to work and cooperate with a multidisciplinary team of trade, non-trade, and contractors to efficiently deliver maintenance services in a busy work environment.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in the use of computerised building management control systems to monitor, control, fault find and adjust systems and associated controllers.
- Demonstrated sound interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and personally with key stakeholders in the workplace.
- Demonstrated computer literacy, including use of Microsoft Office and work order systems.
- Current Drivers Licence and willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position.
