About the Role

You will be based at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. It is one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history of serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities. Our facilities and services are world class and our staff are dedicated, innovative and caring.
 
The Administrative Officer provides departmental support and general administration of the HTrak, Surginet and management systems and stock ordering applications. You will also assist the Nurse Unit Managers and Business Manager in routine operations, reporting and auditing.
 
This is an opportunity for detail-oriented individuals with advanced excel skills to work in a dynamic team. Knowledge of surgical procedures and inventory management systems advantageous.

Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in providing administrative support in a medical environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • Advanced competency in the use of Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe, database applications and relevant computer systems.
