About the Role
Sydney Local Health District is one of the fastest growing Local Health Districts in New South Wales. Our facilities and services are world class and our staff are dedicated, innovative and caring.
This position will work with the SLHD Executive to lead the development, implementation and evaluation of the SLHD Health Outcomes Action Plans (HOAP) focusing on
- Prevalence of Diabetes in Adults
- Immunisation in Adolescents and Adults
The position will be focused on the development, delivery and reporting of annual operational plans over the 4-year period of the Health Outcomes Action Plans (2025-2029) to embed prevention and early intervention in acute as well as community settings and linkages with primary care.

Ideal Candidate
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or experience in health management, service planning and delivery.
- Project management skills and experience including program design, implementation, evaluation and reporting.
- Ability to prioritise and manage complex projects concurrently and achieve deadlines.
- Effectiveness in establishing and enhancing collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders and negotiating effectively to achieve goals.
