  • Lead Liverpool Hospital’s emergency management strategy, driving preparedness and resilience across one of NSW’s busiest health services. 
  • Partner with senior leaders and emergency response agencies to coordinate planning and responses to major incidents and disasters. 
  • Shape a culture of readiness by delivering emergency management training, exercises, and business continuity initiatives.

Who We're Looking For: 

  • Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to identify risks, maintain emergency management plans, and ensure operational readiness. 
  • Strong communication enabling effective engagement with staff, executives, emergency services, and external stakeholders. 
  • An adaptable and proactive professional that combines strategic planning, emergency response coordination, training, and continuous improvement. 
  • Ready to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting emergency preparedness and response activities while delivering flexibility and resilience during critical incidents and major events. 
 

Selection Criteria 
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below. 

  • Demonstrated experience in a relevant health or emergency management specialty, with postgraduate qualifications in the area of specialty and/or substantial equivalent experience.
  • Can you describe a time when you led the response to a significant incident or emergency event?
  • Liverpool Hospital operates in a complex and high-demand environment. How would you assess and improve our current level of emergency preparedness and business continuity capability within your first 12 months?
