What you'll be doing
In this role, you will support the delivery of timely, accurate and secure health information services by managing both digital and paper-based records in line with legislative and organisational requirements.
 

  • Prepare, scan and quality check clinical documents for electronic medical records (eMR)

  • Digitise and upload patient information ensuring accuracy and record integrity

  • Retrieve, track, file and manage healthcare records, including offsite storage requests

  • Maintain electronic tracking systems to ensure records are always locatable

  • Provide responsive customer service and meet KPIs for productivity and quality

  1. Experience in an administrative position and/or knowledge and experience in health administrative functions.

  2. Demonstrated ability to prioritise and organise your workload so that you are able to meet deadlines

  3. Proven attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct errors.

  4. Developed computer skills and/or experience with document imaging, patient administrations systems and Microsoft Office suite.

  5. Excellent customer service skills with sound oral and written communication skills.

  6. Demonstrated ability to work as a productive team member and contribute to a positive team culture.

  7. Demonstrated understanding of privacy and confidentiality principles and how they are applied in the hospital setting.
