To be successful in this role, you will hold a current Class 1A Security Licence, Senior First Aid Certificate. You will have demonstrated experience responding to aggressive incidents, challenging behaviours and duress situations, along with the ability to take direction and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will communicate respectfully and compassionately with people from diverse backgrounds and have a sound understanding of environmental cleaning practices, infection control, safe manual handling and workplace health and safety principles.
You will also be flexible and willing to participate in a 24/7 rotating roster, including weekends, public holidays and night shifts. You will bring a professional attitude, adaptability and a willingness to work across all areas of the health service, including a morgue environment, while contributing to a safe and supportive healthcare setting.
What you'll be doing
Providing a safe and secure environment for staff, patients and visitors, and assisting clinical staff in the care and comfort of patients.
