Lead and shape the future of Physiotherapy at Nepean Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapy leader to drive excellence in service delivery, workforce leadership, and operational performance within a major hospital setting.
As Head of Physiotherapy, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of all human, financial, and physical resources for Physiotherapy at Nepean Hospital. You will provide professional leadership to all Physiotherapy staff, contribute to the Nepean Allied Health Department Heads Team, and participate in key committees as required. The role also plays a vital part in the clinical, managerial, and operational leadership of Physiotherapy services across NBMLHD, while supporting the advancement of teaching, research, and clinical practice initiatives.

What you will bring to the role
- Qualification in Physiotherapy recognised for registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia and current registration with APHRA.
- Demonstrated substantial postgraduate Physiotherapy clinical practice and supervision skills to enable professional leadership for the delivery of high level, evidence based and complex clinical services and Quality Improvement activities.
- Demonstrated high level operational management and leadership skills to ensure effective human resource management, and effective service planning, coordination and evaluation.
- Demonstrated ability in strategic and operational planning to ensure patient-centred, high quality and cost-effective clinical services.
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal, verbal, non-verbal and written communication, consultation and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to establish, develop and maintain relationships both within and external to the organisation.
- Demonstrated time management skills and ability to manage human, financial, and physical resources effectively and efficiently to ensure budget and performance targets are met.
- Broad knowledge of current health system related issues with demonstrated understanding of application and implications for Physiotherapy services.
- Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel.
