Where you'll be working
Macquarie Hospital, North Ryde
What you'll be doing: The Gardener will maintain up-keep on the lawns and gardens surrounding NSLHD hospitals.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
1. Consistently demonstrates behaviours that align with the CORE values of the organisation Collaboration, Openness, Respect, and Empowerment.
2. Holds a valid NSW Driver’s Licence and relevant gardening qualifications, with a solid understanding of plant species and horticultural practices.
3. Possesses effective communication, interpersonal, and computer skills, with a demonstrated commitment to high standards of customer service and experience in managing and organising teams.
4. Displays strong knowledge of workplace health and safety, with the ability to implement safe work practices and ensure compliance with WHS policies and procedures to protect self, staff, and visitors.
